How to Make Images Appear in Word if Field Codes are displayed (Office 2007-2010)
Some people experience that sometimes, images in Word 2007 or Excel 2010 seem to disappear and are replaced by field codes e.g. {SHAPE\*MERGEFORMAT}. Remedy: Open the Word file in ELN (focus should be on the file) and press ALT + F9.

'Class Not Registered' error for gel fields (Client installation)
If you have installed the ELN client on your Windows PC, you might experience that the gel fields give the ‘Class Not Registered’ error instead of showing the embedded image file. How to change the font size in the Image Editor section (ChemBioDraw)
The font size within an Image Editor section can be changed on a per-document basis. In any Image Editor section, right click on the white area to get the program’s menu. Go to the ‘File’ menu and select ‘Document Settings’. Open the ‘Captions’ tab and change the font size accordingly.

How to import an image file in the Image Editor section (ChemBioDraw)
Image files can also be imported in the ‘Image Editor’ or ‘Multi Image Editor’ section. In any Image Editor section, right click on the white area to get the program’s menu. Go to the ‘Edit’ menu and select ‘Insert File’. Change the ‘Types of file’ dropdown to ‘All files’ and select the file you’d like to import.
